About the course
The refresher course in handling dangerous goods on dry cargo ships is a condensed recap of the basic course. During the course, you’ll take part in lectures at Campus Lindholmen. Strong emphasis is placed on cargo planning and reference exercises.
The course is run in accordance with the Swedish Transport Agency’s regulations and, provided the other requirements are met, extends your special certification for handling dangerous goods on dry cargo ships.

SEK 9,500 excluding VAT
Course literature, as well as lunch and coffee on-site, are included in the course fee.

You’ll receive the course material, a compendium, at the start of the course.
Cancellation
Cancellation is free of charge up to four weeks before the course starts. If you cancel later than that, the following charges apply:
- 0–2 weeks before the course starts: 100% of the course fee
- 2–4 weeks before the course starts: 50% of the course fee
Cancellations must be made in writing to sjofart@chalmers.se. We accept a colleague as a substitute for the original participant.
If you fall ill, you can rebook or cancel later than four weeks before the course starts on presentation of a medical certificate and an administrative fee of SEK 1,000.
Accommodation is cancelled according to the hotel’s cancellation policy.
